Commercial furniture design company & manufacturer

I've had an interest in home & commercial furniture design and woodwork from a young age.

When I finished school (further back than I care to remember) I found an apprenticeship, and 3 years later was qualified. But I soon realised that my City & Guilds qualifications (including Advanced Woodwork) were just the tip of the iceberg, and you never stop learning.

Over the next few years I took a position as workshop supervisor for the probation service which I ran alongside my own carpentry business. I also set up and ran a workshop for adults with learning difficulties with some help from Mencap. Good communication skills have played a key role in this.

Later in life I found myself working for a high end shop-fitting firm where I became their installations manager and have supervised and fitted many concessions in shops such as Harrods, Liberty and Harvey Nicholls, along with small individual businesses and domestic customers.

That brings us to the present day. I have gained sufficient skills and knowledge to once again follow my dream and start designing and making fitted and free standing furniture, from a single table, to a commercial reception area, to a handmade home kitchen.
